No one wants spam but everyone love innovation and that is what happened on Facebook Hashtags. Today I can't see that a big problem yet but once spammers found it useful way to do their intention, Hashtags from then will suffer from spam attack.
Because this is more convenient way to publish/share your post to specific audience that is interested in your topic. Example this post is about costume play and you will tag this as #Cosplay, this post will come together with all posts in Facebook with a hashtag of cosplay and they will find it all here https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/cosplay.

Originated from Twitter, but already implemented from blogging platform (Blogger.com, Wordpress.com, Blog.com) before Twitter launched but since social network influence most of internet user, the credits put on Twitter. Because of the convenient way of this system offers, Facebook also decided also to launch hashtags.
Of course this will be a big improvement for Facebook, but I'm not closing the issue that this might be a big threat to their anti spam system. Actually, Facebook is still on serious problem to eliminate spam content in their network since due to the fact that social network is the busiest website on world wide web and everything can spread as a matter of click, this is the favorite target of spammers and with hashtags they do it easily.
Spam definitely comes along with the hashtag and you join that with Facebook which has a ton of people, good luck with that. Although, there are many social media management services out there, that can help you out there.
