The Disadvantage of Submitting Your Blog in Directory

I found this problem after Adsense declining my application due to duplicate/auto generated content of my blog. At first that is a big mystery knowing that all my articles are authentic and base on my own thoughts. I never use auto blog or auto generated content thus it made me to investigate what is going on my blog.

Using search engine, I search everything that linked on my account as well as content that has the same impression on me. I found out that there are lots duplicate content coming from blog directory such as zimbio, blogcatalog, bloggers etc. I remembered that I submitted my blog there and let them get excerpt from my blog in return of links. I also sent Press Release and it pushed other auto blog to get republish my PR also in return of links.

Though they link me back as the source still most of them are reputable through age and links thus it is not impossible for them to get the authority over my articles. I believe that this is the reason my blog has been branded a site containing duplicate content. Although it is not a big issue on Google as I saw most of my content are still on decent rank, overall factors I search on my site authority base on content it is showing that blog directory dominate my content and is really alarming.

Solution:

Since it is difficult to contact them one by one and tell them to remove their post especially to those who are generated automatic content from your blog. So instead of removing those negative links towards in your blog, what you can do now is to add positive links to neutralize them and to convince Google that you have still quality content over those duplicate content.

I know that blog directory is a basic way to have links, but like what I've said, there is a problem from submitting your blog, so instead of doing this as your first step, at the beginning you can first add positive links to prevent the red flag of search engine to treat your site as duplicate.

Why News Blog Is Not A Good Idea For Newbie

The hardest part in blogging is how you want to start your blog, here you need to pick a topic while some topic are crucial for beginners to start with and that is what I want to share on this article.

Basically, as a newbie you will find personal blog is a good way to start your career, until you find out that is not actually the start since you can't call a career if you can't make a profit/income from it (for me,unless you are son of Mother Teresa who wants to work and earn nothing), so aside from personal blog you are in the stage of finding useful way to blog that will let you earn money. Unless you are popular as an individual, personal blog is the best blog you can ever created.

So they will come to the point that news blog is the suitable for them because of its endless topic, endless opportunity, everybody want news, and it is easy to blog just like personal blog but then here I will tell you that this is not really what you want it to be and you should not pick news blog as your first blow to the opportunity.

Yes it is very easy to find topic for news blog, tons of resources from different media as well as wide range of viewers you can get a traffic but the sad part in news is that, people only love new and once you are news aged a day, that is not news anymore but journal and what really happen is people forget about your news. As a beginner it is not recommended to pull out your string at once. I'm not expecting that you have individual blogger/writer just like the popular news website/blog so everything will be your own effort and it is very tedious to write double-digit numbers of articles everyday.

Since you are already in the part of earnings, expecting that you will use Adsense as typical bloggers implemented in their news blogs, there is no stable rate for every keywords you had. Keywords is different from niche although most of the time they had they same description. Example if your niche is about selling gold online, of course your keyword is gold, most of the time your ads/banner is about gold. But when it comes to news,  your niche is news but your keyword is cannot be a  news itself but this is about news and it has a million of variation you can attach with and that is the reason you don't have stable banner/rate for a certain niche.

In terms of promoting or they call it SEO, it is difficult to promote stuff from different keywords. That is the reason I discussed keywords because you need this to promote your content using SEO or even other term of promotion. In my first example I use Gold, here you have an idea where you can get traffic, where you can get potential clients, you can use social network, find fan pages that talk about gold, introduce your product, find individual promote your products, but how come you can do it with news? Even I have the idea, I don't have in mind to share it here as you will only give you a burden on your starting phase of blogging.

Like what I found in some of quote of Bruce Lee, it is about mastery, it is better to kick 1000 times than to have a kick 1000 kinds. That is not actually how he said it as I don't remember that at all but that is the concept on his quote that I want to connect on my article. While mastery is a single centered niche, 1000 kinds of kick is what you call news blogging.

Bubblews . com got viral on the first quarter of year 2013 through social network because of their easy monetizing system promising a $0.01 per view. Can you imagine how can  you earn $25 (as their minimum payout) easily? In every 100 views  you can earn 1$ but this is base on IP count not user or you can consider hundreds of your friends from social network. You can also earn $0.50 in every referral, meaning to say if you share Bubblews to your friends and let them sign up and made a first post you can instantly earn $0.50 you must only use your referral link for verification.

So I investigated, Bubblews . com by reading some reviews, while more of them saying that they are paying while I also read a complaints against them telling that they are a big scam. I investigated both two subjects and since I'm also a blogger, I know such ORM stuff or this is online reputation management this is by using bloggers, individual reviews to post good or bad statement to affect the reputation of a certain companies, products, website, people etc online. So this is like one of the reviews telling that Bubblews com is legit or scam is only a part of paid ORM.

Because what I'm expecting to hear is that Bubblews is a legit website so it can let me earn, I made to investigate those reviews telling that they are paying. And I found out, more of them are from Bubblews.com itself, so they are posting a positive reviews for the same website. That is alarming, here we can say that, in order to bury those negative complaints, they intentionally post articles that will reflect to them telling that they are legitimate. If that is the case, you can't trust these reviews, it is like asking yourself if you are beautiful, well of course you will say a big yes.

Then I moved to an article revealing their bad anomalies of how Bubblews scam their members. And like my first finding, the article also mentioned that Bubblews is spreading hoax reviews to boost their reputation. He also  added that this company is not as big as what we want it to be,  we are hoping for their payment of $0.01 per view without knowing how they can make a profit in return with that conversoin, (that is a very big conversion compare to other well known affiliate network system such as Adsense, ExtendMedia etc.) If Adsense owned by Google can't implement that kind of conversion for their members what more this small time companies can pay their members as high as that. The testimony that Bubblews.com is fake website explain it further from different perspectives telling their modus operandi so if you are really interested to sign up on this affiliate network, you better read that article against them. It is more worthy of your time than wasting your time to false promises.
